Details of changes on lumen.ca
As of February 18th, 2020, lumen.eleknet.com and lumen.ca will merge to offer a complete eCommerce experience on lumen.ca.
The new platform is much faster, has filters to improve product search and retains all customer data, except for the password, which you have to reset yourself.
What will happen to my quick list and other data during the transition?
You will still find all your information, even after the change. The features remain the same as those currently on ElekNet, but on lumen.ca. All your information will be stored, except for the password.
Why do I have to update my password?
For security reasons, we cannot export ElekNet account passwords in order to import them into the new lumen.ca platform. Everyone will therefore have to do it for their own account.
How to update my password?
When the change is made on lumen.ca, an email will be sent with a link to update your password. Alternatively, it is also possible to simply click on Forgot Password to receive an email with a link to choose a new password.
Will all ElekNet accounts be migrated to the new platform?
No. Inactive accounts (unused in the last year) will not be part of the transition. Therefore, it will be impossible for an inactive client to log on to lumen.ca unless a new account is created.
What will happen if I try to go to lumen.eleknet.com?
The lumen.eleknet.com link will automatically redirect to lumen.ca
What if I have an active account, but don't receive an email with a link to update my password?
Please contact us by clicking on Contact Customer Support. There may be multiple email addresses associated with the account, which is no longer accepted since February 1st, 2020. Each ElekNet account must have a different email address.
How will this impact integrations?
Gestion CMEQ & ACCEO: If you use Gestion CMEQ or ACCEO and ElekNet, you will receive an email prompting you to change your ElekNet password. Please note that this will not change their Gestion CMEQ / ACCEO password. We recommend changing both passwords to avoid any confusion.
Other integrations: There will be no impact if you're integrated with Punchout, EDI, XML or with ERP partners other than Gestion CMEQ & ACCEO. You will be able to use your platform as you are used to.
